More about me...
In his current role, David oversees the Investigative and Professional Services Division, which includes two sergeants, two detectives, and two community officers. David is also the handler for LUPD's first therapy dog, Grace. David lives in Easton, PA with his wife Marissa, and their daughter. In his spare time, David enjoys doing home improvement projects, hunting, spending time with his family, and playing the latest Call of Duty. If you see me and Grace walking around campus, be sure to come up and say hi!
Why I enjoy working at Lehigh..."The reason I enjoy working at Lehigh University is the positive interactions with the community. The best part of my day is walking through campus with Grace and greeting students, faculty and staff. The first time someone asked me 'This is really your job? You get to walk a dog for your job', I realized I was truly blessed to be in a position as a police officer, as well as have a K9 partner like Grace. The University is steeped in so much tradition, such as the annual bed races and the Lehigh/Lafayette football game. It is somewhat surreal that you can work as a police officer and still be involved in these types of events around campus. It makes for a very rewarding and fulfulling career."
